How Do I Add a One-Time Adjustment to a Cut-off?

A one-time adjustment adds an extra earning or deduction to one cut-off only, for example a bonus, an allowance or a deduction you enter by hand. You can add, change or remove them until the cut-off is locked.

Add an adjustment

  1. From the sidebar, click "Payroll."
  2. Click "Payroll Analysis." It opens on the next cut-off to run.
  3. In "One-time adjustments," click "Add adjustment."
  4. Pick the employees, the pay item and the amount. Anyone who worked during the cut-off is in the list, including people who have since left.
  5. Click "Review" (the button shows how many rows), check them, then click "Apply."

Change or remove one

  1. In "One-time adjustments," click the × beside the line, then "Yes, remove."
  2. To change the amount, add it again with the right amount using the steps above.

Add adjustments before you click "Run Payroll." If you change one after the run, the page marks the cut-off "Re-run needed." A locked cut-off shows "Adjustments are locked for this cut-off."
